Korean entertainment continues to capture global audiences in 2025. The highly anticipated second season of “Squid Game” has dominated Netflix charts worldwide, achieving the No.1 spot in 93 countries. Particularly in Taiwan, the series maintained the top position for 17 consecutive days, with local media praising actor Gong Yoo’s performance. In Mexico, the show was No.1 for 18 days, and a remixed version of the Korean children’s song ‘Round And Round’ gained popularity in local clubs. Italian critics highlighted the series’ shift from exploring inequality to delving into psychological dynamics.
