SBS’s “Buried Hearts” has released its latest making-of video ahead of its next episode!
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

The newly released video kicks off with Park Hyung Sik lying in a hospital bed after his character loses his memory. Following the director’s instructions to simply lie there, Park Hyung Sik looks content and playfully says, “Dong Joo finally has days like this.”
This lighthearted moment contrasts with the tense atmosphere of the scene, in which Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho) approaches and checks if Dong Joo is still breathing and merely asleep by placing his hand near his nose. Despite the confrontational nature of their characters’ relationship, the video captures the friendly off-screen chemistry between the two actors, with both of them laughing throughout the filming process.
Later on in the video, Park Hyung Sik prepares for a scene involving water torture. When asked if he’s scared, he confidently responds, “This isn’t scary at all.” He adds that the most thrilling moment was when he actually entered the sea of Namhae.
As filming begins, Park Hyung Sik certainly looks far from scared—in fact, he seems genuinely enthusiastic. After the first take, he even suggests adding more water to the tub, demonstrating his dedication and professionalism as an actor.
