Are the tables finally turning on SBS’s “Buried Hearts”?
“Buried Hearts” tells the story of a man who manages to hack a political slush fund account worth 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) and the man who kills him without knowing he’s been hacked—thus accidentally losing the entire 2 trillion won. Park Hyung Sik stars as Seo Dong Joo, the leader of the Daesan Group chairman’s Public Affairs team.

On the previous episode of “Buried Hearts,” Yum Jang Sun (Heo Joon Ho) decided that since Seo Dong Joo had lost his memories due to shock, it would take an even bigger shock to retrieve them. In order to jolt him into remembering what he’d forgotten, Yum Jang Sun had Seo Dong Joo’s sister Agnes (Han Ji Hye) killed in front of him.
After tragically losing his sister before his own eyes, the enraged Seo Dong Joo becomes determined to exact revenge on Yum Jang Sun.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Seo Dong Joo and Yum Jang Sun cross paths at his sister’s funeral. As Seo Dong Joo gazes sadly at the floor with a hollow expression, Yum Jang Sun watches him suspiciously, seemingly trying to figure out whether his memories have returned.
However, in the next set of photos, the spark in Seo Dong Joo’s gaze suddenly returns, and his eyes burn with emotion as he catches sight of something or someone.
Meanwhile, Yum Jang Sun looks worried and slightly distressed as he speaks to someone on the phone, piquing curiosity as to how Seo Dong Joo will strike back at Yum Jang Sun—and whether his counterattack will succeed.
The “Buried Hearts” production team teased, “In Episode 7, Seo Dong Joo, who has lost his one and only family member, will finally launch a counterattack against Yum Jang Sun. The contrast between Seo Dong Joo, who fearlessly goes all out in pressuring Yum Jang Sun, and Yum Jang Sun, who gradually finds himself cornered against a wall, will thrill viewers. Actors Park Hyung Sik and Heo Joon Ho’s outstanding performances will create top-notch synergy. Please look forward to it.”
The next episode of “Buried Hearts” will air on March 14 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
